Everyone I have a serious problem. I recently upgraded my Flash Player on my Mac which runs Snow Leopard the latest version which is Mac OX X 10.6.4 with Kernel Version Darwin 10.4.0 and no 64-Bit Kernel and Extension.

I have no sound. The Player refuses to play any sound. Sound works on every other program and plug-in on my mac except flash. It is driving me up the wall. Please could you help me by telling me how to get sound back so that I can watch youtube and continue flash video editing.

By the way I have reinstalled flash on my mac 20 times and this has not worked. I have restarted it many times and this has not worked. So please could you provide me with an alternative way to get flash to work on my Mac.

Thank-you

Hi, I don't work with Mac, however I can tell you what most everyone that has video issues with the 10.1 has been advised to do. Go to youtube and just as soon as the Video starts, right click on it so you see the Display Setting. You want to turn off the hardware acceleration. Then updating graphic and video drivers to the latest version. These three things have been helpful. Whether this would affect audio, I don't know.

Now sometimes in a PC when there is an audio issue, the Services have been turned off and turning them back on or just turning it off and then Restarting has solved it.

Hopefully the helper that knows the Mac will come by the forum. If I see them on, I'll send them a message so they can take a look at your thread.

    Thanks,
