On the Adobe website, it says "Real help from real people"
I guess that should say, "Good luck figuring out your problem on your own, Real Person!"
Anyway, get this error message: "The video editing tools require a modern version of Flash to be installed"
That's the error message I get on YouTube, even though I just installed the Adobe Flash Player 25 PPAPI, and my computer
says "You have version 25,0,0,127 installed"
So what do I do now, so that YouTube stops giving me that error message?

The forums are user-to-user forums. Staff participate when they can, in between their normal workload. If you look through the Flash Player forums you see user participation is low, so it's not realistic to expect a response immediately. I apologize if this doesn't meet your expectations.

According to Adobe, my flash player is installed.
According to YouTube, it is not enabled.
It does not give me the enable or disable choice anywhere on my computer.
I don't know how to take a photo of my "system" page: it says I'm using Windows 10 Home, 8.00 GB, 64-bit operating system and I'm using a Chrome browser, Version 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit)
Although supposedly Chrome browsers already contain Adobe Flash Player, YouTube said I needed to install one, so I have. But it's not enabled, and there is no place that says enable or disable.
There is no "gear icon" that Adobe tells me I will see on my Chrome browser.
Because it doesn't give me the enable or disable choice, does this mean that my Chrome browsers are corrupt, and I need to uninstall them and then install them again?
Please respond. Thanks!

Hi,
It's doubtful your Chrome installation is corrupt. You're most likely encountering Google's click-to-play feature. If the this method doesn't work there's a few other options to try.

I put in chrome://plugins
On one Chrome browser, it just lists 2 plug-ins.
On another Chrome browser, it lists 4 plug-ins.
On the browser that has 4 plug-ins, for the flash player, ti has this info:
Adobe Flash Player - Version: 25.0.0.127 Shockwave Flash 25.0 r0
|
I checked in the box beside the words "Always allowed to run," although it may not show a check here.
I have 5 browsers open. Do I need to shut down all of them and restart my computer?
I am concerned that I could lose some of my YouTube project I'm working on, but if I need to do that, I will.

You don't need to restart the computer. You may need to refresh (reload) the browser tab and/or restart the browser.

Thanks for your response.
I don't know if this has anything to do with YouTube, but
now I get an error message on YouTube that says
"An error occured. Please try again later.
Learn more."
Any advice?

That's sounds like an issue with YouTube. You would need to contact them for assistance.

When I type in about:plugins, my browser immediately changes the words to
chrome://plugins, and the result is that my Adobe Flash Player is still "disabled" for some reason.
Any help would be appreciated.
You may have disabled Flash Player in Chrome. To reenable it:

Google got rid of the chrome://plugins page in the Chrome 57 release. See the tech note Enable Flash Player for Google Chrome which has been updated for the new behaviour.
