Downloaded this file from adobe.com in response to adobe updater telling me to update. However, when I try to check the file with my virus scanner is says it cannot that the file is passowrd protected. I always scan all files I download, adobe being one of them, this has never happened before. Any rational for this?

Thanks

Bad definitons file in your A/V.

NO freeware from adobe is password protected... ever.

NO software from Adobe contains viruses... ever.

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking one of the following links.

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

NO need to scan them. They come from a safe source (here).
