Mac 10.7.5 - Flash Install Failure

Macbook Pro 3,1

OS 10.7.5

Safari 6.1.6

Every attempt to upgrade Flash with the most recent upgrade has failed.  The previous versions of Flash and all installers worked flawlessly.

I've spend hours online and on the Adobe forums looking for solutions.  I've done uninstalls, clean installs, I've tried every solution mentioned that I can find.  NOTHING WORKS.  I'm at my wits end.
wonderful

I just want FLASH working as it did before this latest upgrade.

hey eric, having the same problem here. Have spent hours looking for solutions as well, nothing has worked. Everything use to work fine until I updated Flash to 18. Tried uninstalls, clean installs from v15 on up to 17. sometimes they work for a while, then 'plug-in failure' again and again. In Safari I have removed all website data, cleared cache, reinstalled, reset, restarted, reworked and still nothing. Any help out there would be appreciated!

Having the same problem with Flash Player v18. It Is draining most of the CPU, and causing the beach ball to spin non-stop. Can't find a fix or work-around anywhere online.  Would really appreciate some kind of a solution to this problem… Thanks
