I am taking an online Spanish course called Tesoros, from UC Davis.  The course required Macromedia's Flash Player 6; it won't work with Adobe Flash 10.x  I have tried downloading Macro Flash Player 6, using Safari, and it simply opts of download Adobe Flash 10.  I cannot download Flash Player 6, yet the university says I have to have it to continue in the course.  I don't know what to do next.  Change browser from Safari to something else?  Help?

Hi, see if this will help. http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html  I'm not sure if this is a zip file or not. It contains vs 6 for all OS. Whether the Safari browser is supported I don't know that either. This may be helpful:

http://www.adobe.com/support/security/index.html#flashplayer

You will need to Uninstall any Flash Player that you have Installed before Installing vs 6. I would download it and SAVE it to your Desktop. http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html

Hope that helps,

Hi, They are both working for me so I don't know what the problem could be on your end. I'm in the Mid-West area and have noticed that the Flash Forum is running slow today for some reason. These links are valid so the only thing I could

suggest is to try them again. I usually just right click on the link and Open in a new Window(using IE) since I need several windows open at once.

If you can delete your email address, I would. When you reply to the forum, go to the bottom of the email notification and use the "visit the message page" instead of using your email to reply.

Don't open the link from the email notification you received; go directly to the forum post http://forums.adobe.com/message/3212407#3212407 and open the link from there.
