McAfee Opt-out

New Here ,
Jun 10, 2018 Jun 10, 2018

This needs to be an opt-in rather than an opt-out option.

It's terrible that if not paying complete attention you can accidentally install software which is difficult to completely remove easily. Especially such insidious software.

It's pretty low-brow for a company as big as Adobe to still be doing opt-outs when installing free software. It's 2018 Adobe.

Hi,

I understand the objection but it is how the flow works.

There are a couple ways to avoid the issue entirely -- primarily by choosing a browser that distributes Flash Player as bundled component.  Today, that's Google Chrome and Microsoft Internet Explorer and Edge on Windows 10.

Thanks!
