Player 10 - Slow and Distorted MP3 Playback.

I began experiencing this problem once I download Flash Player 10. The mp3 playback is slow and sounds very distorted.

This only seems to occur with mp3s at a 48k sample rate. Mp3s at a sample rate of 44.1k sound normal. Is there a way to fix this without converting the sample rate? Is Adobe working on a solution?

    I'm getting the same thing. Are all of you on Apple platform? It seems to be the only place this is showing up.

    Macbook Pro - OSX 10.5.6

    When I uninstall flash player and reinstall 9 it works fine. On another not when using CS4 at work the same thing happens locally when I test the movies.

    It's sounds like music on nitrous in hell. .. . .

    Atleast your representative should give any response to us.. if you people are not supposed to answer here then you should close this forum.

    whether you people are investigating this issue or not?

    I am having the very same problem, I have an audio player in flash8 (as2), and it was working fine uptill flash player version 9. but after release of flash player 10, i have got issue in both quality and speed of MP3 sounds..(The sounds distorts at startup)


    If some one have any solution other than resampling the mp3 sounds please share.

    We are having this exact same issue. The only recourse I've found so far is re-encoding the mp3 to 44.1. Anyone?

    We may have to resort to uploading 44.1k mp3s. Just a shame because Film and TV lives in 48k. We'd need to have 44.1k for streaming and 48k available for download. Not ideal and a lot of work on the back-end.
