Please help.. Unable to 'enable' flash player in 'manage ad ons'??

Hi,

Please could somebody advise me on how to 'enable' Flash Player in 'manage ad ons' when this is currently greyed out?? Think this may have occurred after i accepted an upgrade to avast called 'Browser Cleanup'? Unfortunately cannot see a relation between any of the 'disabled' items on the list in this function?

Already tried reinstalling the programme but this hasnt helped. Forgive my ignorance if this is something simple, still learning.
