"movie not loaded" problem Flash 11.1.102.55 (IE9 32&64 & Chrome) on all websites

I have not been able to get the Flash Player 11.1.102.55 working under Windows7/64 on my desktop on any website including Adobe's.  I get a blank window, and when I R-click get the greyed msg "movie not loaded" and the ver number of Flash.   I have uninstalled it using 'uninstall_flash_player_64bit.exe' and cleaned the registry and installed it, over and over, cleared all browser history, cookies and cache.  Reinstalled browsers.  The only way I can sometimes get it to work is to change the URL to httpS instead of http.  This works on youtube and on adobe site, but not very many other sites as they wont reply to https.  Tried a older ver 10 of Flash, no difference.  I do not have this problem on my Windows7/64 laptop running through same network connection here at home.  Any ideas would be much appreciated!  I have been fighting this problem for many weeks....

I am having this problem with this website: http://www.sunnesnetwork.ca

No videos work for me but I have no problems on any other website, I tried on 4 computers at my home, one on windows 8.1 and the other 3 on windows 7 but still not working. All my friends have no problems loading the videos. My version of flash player is the most up to date version, and I tried disabling all my security settings on the PC's and even on my router/modem and it still won't work.

The website does not work for me at all.

Explanation: The IP address for the website you requested could not be found.

May be it's not yet a public site?

I had this issue on my webpage but resolved it! This may or may not work, but check the scripting of your website/the webpage that doesn't work! I accidentally used a location that had changed (I had the data stored on a memory pen, and instead of the location being\assets\whatever.swf, it was G:\webpage\assets\whatever.swf) This caused me a lot of hassle but was super easy to fix!

My Problem is the following:

A flash animation with Firefox browser (16.0.1 currently latest version-1) , Flash version 11.4.402.287 (currently latest version) shows a flash animation using XML data to display points on a map as a black (my colleague gets a white) rectangle and a "movie not loaded" message with RMB.

Other Collegues with Firefox 11.0 and Flash 11.2.202.235 have no problem, the site is working as it should (and has been working for now several years).

Further testing with Safari, Chrome and ie did work as expected. What is more notable is that Safari is also using Flash version 11.4.402.287.

OS: Windows 7 64 bit.

The site (for those who want look at the Flash application): http://www.paulwurth.com/en/The-Group/International-Presence

At the home page of the site (www.paulwurth.com) we display a simple straight forward flash animation without whistles and bells and that one is working.

Suggestions are welcome!

@Lucien - Could you try running through the troubleshooting steps outlined in this FAQ:  How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?

I just tried your page in Firefox 16.02 with Flash Player 11.5.502.110 (on Win7 x64) and the swf with the global map and rollovers worked fine for me.

Thanks,

Chris

I've replied simply to allow more information on this problem to be found.  I'm having the exact same problem, but it occurs accross multiple installations on the same PC.  So it would seem to be a problem with the environment at this time.  However I'd like to know what other troubleshooting.  I'm unable to load any additional flash details in any IE9 or Chrome window.  Getting the Movie not loaded error.  However the installer seems to work without issue.  I'm now reinstalling and copying the files from a working PC to see if we can find out if its  physical file problem.

Look forward to any additional help you all could extend.

Thanks!

Not sure where to access Flash Player data and settings so tried the following.  Changed user account to admin access.  After doing this, 1) logged into user account 2) Uninstalled flash with the 64bit uninstaller 3) reinstalled flash. Movies now loaded in muliple IE sessions.  Now to ensure it will always be there.  1) logged out of user 2) switched user back to a standard account on with my admin account 3) restart PC.  Still working!!  Not sure how or why, but videos load on all sites now.   I am still interested to know how to access Flash player data and settings.

Go to your Control Panel and type Flash Player.  Click Flash Player, click Advanced tab.

I have been having this exact same issue, so I was hoping this thread had a solution. Anyway here are some specific on what my exact problem and configuration settings are.  Pretty much a brand new PC running Win 7, IE9, and Flash 11.1.102.55.  I get a blank window and right click to get "movie not loaded".  This occurs for everything on the web; youtube, CNN, SI, etc.....   So I now have it working on my admin account with no issues at all.  Loads right up and starts playing.  I have issues with the "standard access" user account.  When I de-install flash and re-install on the user account videos play in the browser that spawns and the end of the installation and goes to adobes site.  I can open multiple tabs on this browser and view videos with no issues.  Once I  close that specific browser and open another, I can no longer view videos and I am back to the original "movie not loaded error".  Any thoughts?  JTH

Can you try clearing your Flash Player data and settings and see if that makes a difference?  You can do this in the Flash Player control panel's Advanced tab.

Thanks Chris. Deleting all site data and settings has resolved this problem for me, except that www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ fails (movie not loaded) But youtube and other sites using flash are loading OK now. I had tried this several times before with no luck, but this time it worked!

I updated drivers but no help. I turned off hardware acceleration no help. I wonder why HTTPS works on some sites?
