Question

Right clicking on Flash player pauses?

Hello.

Why does right clicking on Flash player's animation, video, etc. pause? Shouldn't they keep playing? I see this behavior in both Mozilla's web browsers and Internet Explorer v8.0 and three/3 different OSes (Windows (XP Pro. SP3 and 64-bit 7 HPE SP1) and Mac OS X).

Thank you in advance.

Right click should bring up the Flash menu.

I can't help but thinking that somehow you've got an altered mouse setting in all three systems. I've got nine OS's on ten different machines (Win and Mac) and no less than five browsers on any of them and I don't see this with an Apple Magic Mouse, a trackpad or a Microsoft mouse.

Try Control clicking. If that pauses it too, then it's hardware.

I do get the menus, but the Flash videos, animations, etc. stop playing when I get Flash player's right click menu.
