todays Flash player release 13.0.0.182 fails completely on Mac OS X

New Here ,
Apr 08, 2014 Apr 08, 2014

Todays Flash player release 13.0.0.182 for Mac OS X fails on my Mac 10.7.5 on all browsers (Safari and Firefox).

Instead of any flash animation I only get "Plugin-Error" (in German "Plugin-Fehler")

Previous flash player worked without a problem.

Any ideas ?

@Adobe: What's wrong with rel. 13.0.0.182 ?

If Scotty has Safari 7, he has Mavericks, since NO OTHER OS will run Safari 7.

Irrelevant. If it'll run Mavericks, it more than meets the requirements for Flash.

Plugin works on a macbook 4,1 & not on 1,1 or 3,1. Scotty's is higher than that. Looking for some correlation to hardware OR OS!.

So, works on Snow Leopard 4,1 not on Snow Leopard 1,1 & not on Lion 3,1........keep it going......!

Scotty's is a 3,1 macbook pro which I guess can run Mavericks but not FP 13!

So macbook 3,1 (pro or regular) cannot run FP 13 under Lion or Mavericks.

Thanks for the system info.  Do these machines happen to have the Adobe Connect application installed?

If it does, I can’t find it. I see an alias, but it’s not linked. Search doesn’t find app.

Either, use the beta: Flash Player Plug-in for Mac OS X (DMG, 17.2 MB) which works on my 10.6. 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9 machines...  or do a "clean install" (How to perform a "clean install" of Flash Player in Mac OS X) using the 12.0.0.77 plug-in from the Acrhive zip: Flash Player 12.0.0.77

Having the same problem on Safari 6.1.2 and uninstall/reinstall doesn't do anything. Getting "Plug-in Failure" on YouTube and elsewhere.
