Two versions of Shockwave Flash in Firefox 60.0 64 bit

In FireFox 60.0 64 bit add-ons manager Shockwave Flash reports NPSWF64_29.0.0.113.dll and NPSWF64_29.0.0.171.dll I believe this causing Adobe to try and update Shockwave flash constantly and fail each time. If this is correct how do I remove NPSWF64_29.0.0.113.dll Window 10 version 1803 build 17134.38 64 bit FireFox 60.0 64 bit

Please go to about:plugins, locate the Shockwave Flash entries and post the path to both versions.

Also, provide the FlashInstall log files saved at the following locations:

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall32.log
C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashInstall64.log

Upload the files to cloud.acrobat.com/send (see instructions at How to share a file using Adobe Document Cloud ) or some other file sharing service that doesn't require user login to access. Post the links to the uploaded files in your reply.

Thank you. It looks like at least one of the version 29.0.0.113 files was unable to be deleted when Flash Player was upgraded to 29.0.0.171, resulting in Firefox showing both versions and loading the previous version. Please try the following:

Download the uninstaller posted at Uninstall Flash Player for Windows
Close all browsers and applications that may use Flash Player - if necessary, view Task Manager to identify and close applications
Run the uninstaller downloaded in step 1
Reboot the machine
Launch File Explorer and navigate to C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
Make sure it does not contain files with 'NPSWF' or 'Plugin' in the file name. If there are, delete the files.
Still in File Explorer, navigate to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash and repeat step 6
After ensuring Flash Player plugin has been completely removed, launch Firefox and navigate to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download the latest Flash Player NPAPI plugin for Firefox
Close all browsers and apps that may use the Flash Player NPAPI plugin
Install Flash Player NPAPI plugin

If there are errors deleting files in step 6 or step 7, post a screenshot of the errors.
