This happens about 20 minutes after I start up my computer. Facebook freezes and displays "A plugin (shockwave flash) isn't responding. YouTube page loads but video can't play even though the video plays. Other websites that use flash cease to work also ex: http://minecraftgamesplay.org/mc-games/block-slitherio-game . The same is for all three browsers (chrome, firefox, internet edge)
The weird thing is, if I restart my computer, it will all be fine again, and then flash player breaks again after 20-30 minutes. Even Spotify stops working, the song won't play and I can't change the song. Websites that use flash and spotify work for 20-30 minutes and then they encounter problems after that, causing me to restart my computer again.
This started to happen after I downloaded Windows 10.
I have tried:
- Installing new display driver
- Installing new sound driver
- Clear flash cache
- Reinstalling flash player v18
- Ran a full malwarebytes scan
Since spotify also stops working at the same as my browser's flash player stops working on all three browsers, I know the problem comes from my computer not the browsers. I regret downloading windows 10, it has caused my so much inconvenience. I have no idea what to do, please help me.
v18? We are at v22 btw.
It seems like it is a system wide issue since it is effecting all three browsers, and a rather nasty one in all honesty.
Lets start with one browser and work from easiest to hardest. Make sure Chrome is closed and go to the following file location:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data
In there is a folder called Pepper Flash; you can delete it and all contents residing in there.
Restart Chrome see if that helps for Chrome.
If not close Chrome, and delete th

If not close Chrome, and delete the Flash cookies in Chrome located once again in the pepper flash folder located here:
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default
Relaunch and see if that helps.
You can also try and clear old prefetch data with ccleaner free version as you mentioned that it happens after awhile. I have noticed that if you keep certain prefetch files in Firefox clear with the 32 bit version it will not crash hardly ever. I find it odd though its happening across al three browsers.
Last but not lease reset Chrome to defaults ( your bookmarks will be in tact )
Best Regards
