Update Flash Player in Chrome not working

I downloaded and installed the latest version of Flash Player for Chrome and now some of the web sites I visit show just a black screen for the video.  The sound is playing and you can see the control bar moving, but I get on visual.  I have checked Internet Explorer and it seems to be working just fine, it is only in Chrome that I am having the problem.  Is anyone else having this problem or have i just done something wrong.  Thanks.

I was facing this issue but before i could solve this my chrome face another error namely connection reset error (an image is attached below for further assistance). This happened because due to change in network or registry. I was struggling to find the solution and found this website ERR_CONNECTION_RESET Chrome which gave me the perfect solution to this problem.

Thanks for your post, but it's clearly not the same issue.  OP states "The sound is playing and you can see the control bar moving, but I get on visual. ", which indicates the page loaded, while you indicate you got a 'ERR_CONNECTION_RESET' error, which indicates the page did not load.
