I have a Norton security package installed on my computers and I noticed Macafee is included in the most recent Adobe update. Will this cause any issues for me if I download the Adobe update.......Has Macafee always been included with Adobe?

Hi,

McAfee is an optional install.  It is not required, nor installed automatically, with Flash Player.

Maria,

There is at least one GUI updater that installs McAfee with no opt out.

I witnessed and documented it last July.

@Maria

How can you be staff and not know what your company is installing on our computers?

Just goes to show the level of training and info they give their staff... and they are supposed to be fixing problems.

Please pass on to your superiors how annoyed everyone is at their unconscionable conduct and at least give us an opt-out for the McAfee install.
