Videos, .JNLP files, prompts, etc. don't work.

Windows 7 64-bit with 32bit IE11 browser.  Have downloaded Flash Player every day for the past week and made sure the old versions are uninstalled, restarted computer and still having no luck.  Issues galore.  Even upon finishing the flash player installation, the "You might be interested in these other products" slideshow doesn't appear.  Videos will have sound but no visuals.  Anything that uses .JNLP files doesn't work.  "Click here to upload your photos" type prompts don't even show up.  Those are a few examples.  I have tried checking on my firewall settings and anti-virus/anti-malware settings.  I even uninstalled the anti-virus as well!  No luck.  I have already checked the list of 10 things to try (although only checking to make sure shockwave was enabled applied to my situation...which it was).  I am going out of my mind!  It's affecting my ability to run my business and I can't figure it out!

This may shed some light on it: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ieinternals/archive/2013/09/21/internet-explorer-11-user-agent-string-ua-str...

Microsoft really did a number on IE11. And it seems they did it INTENTIONALLY. IE is difficult for pages to ID if they can ID it at all.

It's just the latest reason I refuse to use Microsoft's garbage, disguised as a browser. It's 110% pure, unadulterated junk through and through.
