Where to download Flash offline .msi installers from???

Hi all

last couple of months I was downloading  offline Flash installers for my customers from

https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_23_active_x.msi https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_24_active_x.exe

https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_23_plugin.msi

without having to sign-up anywhere.

(In December, with Flash 24 release I still was able to download from

https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_24_active_x.msi

https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_24_plugin.msi

)

Two days ago, I noticed all links are invalid! I found no notification of change in Adobe policy - now I urgently need offline .msis (actually .exe installers too - earlier available on https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_24_plugin.exe )  - and links to them as well since I am unable to find them anywhere. Please let anyone provides me with links to current offline installers

Also, I dont know why it tries to access the Internet via proxy-server, while I clearly defined in my default browser Firefox 56.0.1 that Internet access is "no proxy".

Dear Fangquan Han,

Thank you for submitting a request to distribute Adobe® Software. At this time,
Adobe is unable to grant you permission to distribute the following:

  • Adobe®
         Flash® Player

Your Request has been rejected for the following reasons:

  • Adobe is
not accepting new distributors at this time

in this case, how to do?

I'll send you a pm on this.

This entire process is ridiculous!  Now Adobe is rejecting requests.  Why not just end support and stop all distributions right now?  I would love to see Flash go away.  It would be one less Adobe product that needs constant maintenance and attention.

Congratulations, you've succeeded in making one of the least secure applications harder to secure.

Great job, team.

We did it boys.

We are actually working on patching out all Adobe products from our networks because they are just a ball ache now. Especially when you have secure, offline and air-gapped networks like we do.

I suspect our large national networks are doing the same at some point.

I just need the offline installer for one server that doesn't have internet access, does that mean I need to get a distribution license for that?

Yes.  The MSI is only accessible on the distribution page, which requires a valid/current distribution license.

Mind if as another person who went through this simply because I needed either the .msi or .exe offline downloader to get it to work on my internal computer or two what the reasoning is behind not allowing simple things like the offline edition of flash player to be downloaded publically?

Your online installer doesn't work for me, I'm running Win 7 x64 with all available updates, I disabled everything I could think of including proxies and VPNs and still the online installer just hangs forever.

For the offline one, I downloaded the .msi, executed it, and it worked. The task was completed within 3 minutes, and it was a done deal. Pretty much every company on the planet makes their player software available for public download and I really don't understand your company's reasoning behind not allowing that and requiring a login to do the same thing. So would you please explain your company's reasoning? To me it seems a simple question.

In the end it's just player software, it's not the software that allows creation of content or anything beyond just playing existing content. It seems as if you'd want that widely distributed so as to advance folk that keep your software on their computers and it seems that making offline installation editions readily available would advance that goal.

Regards.

I filled out the application three months ago, but have not received any links. How can I be?

Hi mikhailc30574230

Private message me the email address you used to apply for the distribution license.  To send a private message, click on my user name link and then on the 'Message' button link.  For reference, please include a link to this discussion topic in your private message. Note that public email addresses are not allowed.  Distribution licenses are for enterprise customers to redistribute Flash Player within their organization, therefore, a company/organization email is required.

Hello @m_vargas,

I have now signed up for the third time for the Adobe Reader and Runtime Distribution. I have never received an email with any links. We are in dire need for exe/msi versions to be pushed out using ManageEngine Desktop Central using configurations that are pushed out to groups in Active Directory. This is not possible using the installers available to consumers due to the fact the installer removes itself once it is complete.

I have sent you a private message and supplied the email I signed up with. Hopefully this can be resolved in a timely manor.

Thank you,

Devan A. Swope

Hi,

Please do not use the above mentioned links as they are obsolete. You would have applied for distribution license and would be using a distribution page to download/get the links of the deliverables. Please visit that page and download the installers from there. If you have not applied for distribution license yet, please go to Adobe Flash Player Distribution | Adobe page and apply for the same. You would get a reply from noreply@adobe.com within 48 working hours. Then you can go to the distribution page and download the .msi deliverables.

Thanks!

Hi,

It is very much supported, but you need to follow the above mentioned procedure for the same. You will find the links of the offline installers(exe and msi) on the link provided in the mail once you apply for the distribution license.

Thanks!
