Hi all
last couple of months I was downloading offline Flash installers for my customers from
https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_23_acti... https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_24_acti...
without having to sign-up anywhere.
(In December, with Flash 24 release I still was able to download from
)
Two days ago, I noticed all links are invalid! I found no notification of change in Adobe policy - now I urgently need offline .msis (actually .exe installers too - earlier available on https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_24_plug... ) - and links to them as well since I am unable to find them anywhere. Please let anyone provides me with links to current offline installers

Distribution licenses are only valid for one year. This is indicated in the distribution license agreement. Please private message me the email address you used to apply for the most recent distribution license and I'll request the licensing team to resend the email for the new license. I just need the offline installer for one server that doesn't have internet access, does that mean I need to get a distribution license for that?

Yes. The MSI is only accessible on the distribution page, which requires a valid/current distribution license.

Mind if as another person who went through this simply because I needed either the .msi or .exe offline downloader to get it to work on my internal computer or two what the reasoning is behind not allowing simple things like the offline edition of flash player to be downloaded publically?
Your online installer doesn't work for me, I'm running Win 7 x64 with all available updates, I disabled everything I could think of including proxies and VPNs and still the online installer just hangs forever.
For the offline one, I downloaded the .msi, executed it, and it worked. The task was completed within 3 minutes, and it was a done deal. Pretty much every company on the planet makes their player software available for public download and I really don't understand your company's reasoning behind not allowing that and requiring a login to do the same thing. So would you please explain your company's reasoning? To me it seems a simple question.
In the end it's just player software, it's not the software that allows creation of content or anything beyond just playing existing content. It seems as if you'd want that widely distributed so as to advance folk that keep your software on their computers and it seems that making offline installation editions readily available would advance that goal.
Regards.

MSI installers are available for distribution license customers only. The full offline EXE installers have always been available at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows 7 and earlier page.

My license just expired and I need to get the MSI packages for a deployment deadline that's today. I resubmitted the license request yesterday. I've received nothing, no confirmation not approval. There wasn't even a notification to let me know that license was about to expire. This entire process is frustrating and pointless. What purpose does expiring a license serve when that account is used on a regular basis?

Hi,
The distribution license is valid for a period of 1 year. Thanks for the feedback. We will try and notify users before license expires. Could you PM me the email address you used to apply for the license.
Thanks!

Same issue here. Didn't get any notification that my license had/was expiring. Just seen the Adobe bulletin this morning and tried to download the MSI to be greeted with a page telling me that my license may have expired and to resubmit the application. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to process.

Didn't get any notification too. Very frustrating. I resubmitted the license request 4 hours ago and got no answer til now. Need the msi files for packaging and cannot download them.

Congratulations, you've succeeded in making one of the least secure applications harder to secure.
Great job, team.
We did it boys.

We are actually working on patching out all Adobe products from our networks because they are just a ball ache now. Especially when you have secure, offline and air-gapped networks like we do.
I suspect our large national networks are doing the same at some point.

This entire process is ridiculous! Now Adobe is rejecting requests. Why not just end support and stop all distributions right now? I would love to see Flash go away. It would be one less Adobe product that needs constant maintenance and attention.

There are various reasons why a distribution request may have been rejected. The email excerpt posted does not indicate why. We will be following up with the customer and the licensing team for more information.
If you have a specific issue with a licensing request, please private message me the Adobe ID/email address you used to request the distribution license and I'll follow-up with the licensing team.

Also, I dont know why it tries to access the Internet via proxy-server, while I clearly defined in my default browser Firefox 56.0.1 that Internet access is "no proxy".
