Which Adobe Flash Player Version?

Safari displays that I have Adobe Flash Player version 15.0.0.246 installed.  But when I use Adobe Help it states that my Flash Player is out of data, download current version: 15.0.0.235.

This does not make sense to me!  Versions numbers are going backwards?

Can anyone offer advice for this confusion?

    That last number is 16.0.0.235.  Still moving forward.
