Which player will replace Adobe Flash Player

New Here ,
Jan 03, 2021 Jan 03, 2021

My question is...  I just bought a Hp computer and it will not allow me to enable Adobe Flash Player for my video visits with my only son, who is incarcerated and they only have that app to ensure I can visit with him.  So what do I do to go around the program to allow the Adobe Flash Player to  help with video visit

Actually there seems to be good news. According to https://www.jpay.com/jpayHelp/Content/products%20and%20services/Video/Testing%20your%20camera.htm there is a "new client" that doesn't need Flash Player/

There is no replacement for Flash Player.  It's gone.

Find another video chat app that doesn't require Flash.  Ask the corrections facility which apps they recommend you use now.   Durring this pandemic, most people use Zoom or Apple Face Time to stay connected with loved ones.  Neither of those use Flash Player.

Good luck and stay safe.

Unfortunately this seems to be the only video chat app offered. It's called, I believe JPAY. There is some discussion, but no solution, here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/flash-player/flash-not-working-with-jpay/td-p/11659038?page=1

I hope so!  One would certainly think that jails would embrace non-Flash solutions by now.  It's not like the technology doesn't exist or they weren't given ample notice (3 years) that this was coming.
