Question

Why can't I download Flash Player 11 from Google Play for my Samsung Galaxy S2?

Hello everyone

I recently bought a new Samsung Galaxy S2 with ICS 4.04 and I wanted to install Flash Player 11. Unfortunately; when I checked out in Google Play for the App, I could not find it. Then I entered to the page that shows up all Adobe's Apps available to download, but Flash Player 11 was not there.

Yes, I wrote in the searching bar from Google Play: 'Adobe flash player 11'

No, matches found.

What should I do?

Thank you for reading this new discussion.

You have to sideload the last version of Flash onto your device and then use a Flash supported browser like Firefox. It's simpler than it sounds. This might help: http://flashforthegalaxy.com/install-flash-galaxy-s/

Hello,

Welcome to Adobe Forums.

You can download the .apk (Adobe Flash Player installer file of Andriod) from this document :

When i buy the Samsung Galaxy S5 will it still be possible to use Flash or is it blocked on Android 4.4 KitKat? I tried to install it on my Nexus 5, but there is still no flash in Chrome?

Chrome doesn't support Flash. You will need to use the Dolphin Browser for the Android KitKat OS. Here's a tutorial to install Flash to the Nexus 5 (works for all KitKat devices too): http://mynex5.com/install-flash-nexus-5/
