`You need to upgrade your flash player` error message IE9

I have Flash Player version 10,3,183,10 installed, which I believe is the latest version. I am running W7 Ultimate 64 bit, IE9 and usually use the 32 bit browser. I get an error message `You need to upgrade your flash player` and `links are displayed` whenever I encounter a video link in IE9. I have google chrome, and videos display correctly there. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the flash player and also tried the beta version 11. Nothing has worked? I have recently installed and uninstalled Firefox and Opra, that is all that I have done that may be related to this issue.

Thanks.

ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer 9

    Thanks,

    Thankyou Chris,

Consise, relevant and well constructed answers. 2 thumbs up!

It was the active X filtering.

I couldn't figure out why it was doing it because it was working one day and then not the next, yet everything appeared to be installed correctly.

    OK, makes sense now.

    Cheers.
