Flash CS4 Keyboard Shortcut bug

Hello forum peoples,

I have a minor annoyance with Flash CS4, and I have been looking everywhere for a solution - so far, to no avail.  It's a very minor bug, but I am curious to know if anyone else gets this bug, and if there is a solution I am not aware of.

I can reproduce this error EVERY time at my work office, and my home office.  I am a lover of keyboard shortcuts and regularly define my own.  However, after launching Flash, when I try to use a keyboard shortcut, flash gives me this error:

An error occured opening file "

This happens every single time i launch Flash CS4, and the only way to fix the error is to go to Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts, wait for the dialog box to appear, and click the OK button.  Then, all my keyboard shortcuts return to normal.

Does anyone else receive this error?  I know its totally minor, but like a steering wheel on my crotch, it's drivin me nuts!

Thanks for any insight.

- Joel

I'm having the exact same issue. I had the problem when I was running Windows XP, and currently now that I've installed Windows 7. I also briefly had the problem on a Mac at my school campus, but one day it magically stopped. I'd love to know what I can do to fix the issue.

This is one of many bugs I've come across in CS4, including the onion skinning bug, where it doesn't work if other layers are locked and hidden. Seriously, Adobe... let's get with the game.

This forum is for Flash Player, not the Flash Authoring application.

There is a separate forum for the application.

32 views? No reply?  Am I alone here, with nothing to warm me but my Flash bug?
