Flash Player is not working on my Asus Transformer Book running 32 bit Windows 8.1, Chrome or Internet Explorer

I have tried to follow all the troubleshooting steps I could find for Internet Explorer but nothing worked.  I then installed Chrome and when I go to the Flash Player in Control Panel it is a piece of paper with a folded corner.  When I click, double-click, or right click and choose Open ... nothing happens.  There is no Uninstaller for it either.  I have no options other than Open and Create Shortcut when I right click the "piece of paper" icon.  Any help getting this thing working would be greatly appreciated since there is NO PHONE NUMBER you can call for support.

What exactly does "not working" mean?

Also, you cannot uninstall Flash Player from Internet Explorer on Windows 8, nor from Chrome - both have Flash Player preinstalled.

And I don't understand that "piece of paper with a folded corner"; can you post a screenshot?

"not working" here means when I click on a game that uses Flash I get a screen that says you need a Flash player to play this game.  When I click on the Flash icon (on that page) it brings me to a troubleshooting web page that says Flash Player comes pre-installed with Windows 8 and 8.1 and to try the troubleshooting steps below.  For Internet Explorer I checked Add-Ons and it says Shockwave is installed, but no publisher no is available.  I do not know if that is relevant or not.  I tried what I could of the troubleshooting steps, but some options were just not available on this pc.  Then again, I think something is corrupt in the registry keys.  I even tried to command level commands in the troubleshooter but what came up on my screen did not match what was in the steps, so I went on to install Chrome and tried it with my games.

The games were working with Flash for exactly 1 day.  At the end of that day my computer wanted to update before shutdown and did.  The next day I booted my pc up, it finished the updates, and the Flash games no longer work on Chrome.

I would gladly attach a screenshot of the icon I am seeing next to Flash Player in Control Panel if you could tell me how to take and paste a screenshot with this pc.  I looked it up on google and it says use Windows button + down volume.  I think it took the screenshot but when I try to paste it here nothing happens.  Arg!

You cannot paste screenshots into the forum editor (nor in email replies).

You need to save the image, then use the camera icon to insert it into the post; see https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1070933

Picture the icon for a work document.  This is just like that except the page does not have any lines.  The icon is a blank sheet of paper with the top right corner folded in.
