Grey bars when in full screen

I have a Toshiba laptop.Newest versions of IE Firefox and flash player.When in full screen  in flash player why do i get a grey bar above and below the video I am watching instead of all video?Thanks for your help.

Ah ok, I think this is simply that the content was created for a 16:9 format (widescreen) and your native resolution is 4:3 (standard).  Because of that, you'll see bars (letter boxing) at the top and bottom so that the content can fit.  If you can change your resolution to 1280x720 or 1920x1080 then it should fit without any letter boxing.

I couldn't reproduce this using Google Chrome, IE or Firefox, but I did see black bars on the side.  My monitor is ultra wide (2560x1080) though, so that's expected at fullscreen.  Can you tell me what resolution your laptop is running at?  From what you've said, this only happen at fullscreen?

The resolution is 1024x768 landscape.It happens on full screen.
