How can I activate Flash Player in IE 11?

Hello,

my IE 11 with Windows 8.1.1 says that FLASHPLAYER is not activated and explains how to activate it. But it doesn´t work. I opened MANAGE ADD-ONS, went to EXTENSIONS, but there is no SHOCKWAVE FLASH OBJECT which can be activated. What now?
