Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Assertion Failed error after Adobe update

After the last update of Adobe, I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Assertion Failed

File: common\npn_gate.cpp

Line: 267

How do I fix this?

It would help if you told us what Adobe program you are talking about.

It looks like Adobe Flash Player 11

Should I uninstall all of my Adobe and reinstall? I cannot access YouTube

or anything of the sort...

What is your web browser?

What are you doing when you get this error?

I got the same problem, after update flash player

os : Win7  sp1

browser : Firefox

Open firefox to websites

Include Adobe Forums,  youtube( can't play any video, )

But it will not happen in Chrome, IE.. Only FIreFox

You do not have by any chance the Flash Player debug version installed?

Does the same thing happen if you start Firefox in safe mode?

Do you have RealPlayer installed?

I followed the instructions from this page:

It isolated the problem and it is gone. It took about 1 hour of time to go

through it all, as I had not done anything like this before. I hope this

helps!
