PPAPI vs NPAPI using Chrome & Opera playing Farmville 2 issue with PPAPI

Browser Opera - version 29.0.1795.54600
Windows 8.1 - 64 Bit
Flash Player Version - 18.0.0.194 - NPAPI & PPAPI
This is my first time posting anything in a forum. I am concerned with the performance I experience when trying to use Adobe Flash Player PPAPI version,
NPAPI works fine. I'm wondering if there is a setting I might be able to adjust to enable PPAPI to work correctly. I am going to attach 2 screen shots:
the first one is using NPAPI - notice the size of the icons, the number of neighbors I have at the bottom of my screen, and the size of the information
at the top of my screen (coins, Dollars, favors, level, feed, water, fertilizer, and energy).
this screen shot is using PPAPI - the icons at the top and the bottom are very big and there are less neighbors showing -
also, when I use PPAPI, the game is glitchy and very slow, and the size of everything makes the game pretty much worthless to play.

Hi Linda,
Is your browser purposely zoomed out? Can you set it to 100% zoom level and tell me if you see both the large icons and performance problems?
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Thank you for your response. I upgraded Flash to the latest version of PPAPI and zoomed the browser to 100%. The problems are still there. I took a couple screen shots to show you. I wish I knew what is wrong - my husband also has a newer computer and he is able to use PPAPI without these issues.

That's odd, here are my browsers running on Windows 8.1 at 100% zoom level. They look about the same to me, though Firefox has cut off the plant food and fire icons in the top right...
Firefox - NPAPI
Chrome - PPAPI
Internet Explorer - ActiveX
Out of curiosity, what is your system's screen resolution? Do you know if you've changed the DPI settings on this system? When you go to other flash content (eg. Starling Demo - The Cross Platform Game Engine) are the buttons larger in PPAPI than they are in NPAPI?

Hi Chris,
Thank you again for your response. Attached are 3 screen shots - the first one shows my system resolution. I have not adjusted the DPI - I don't know what that is. It is possible the someone from the Geek Squad may have adjusted it when they were trying to help me with this issue. The second screen shot is the demo using NPAPI, and the third one is using PPAPI. Wow, the demo really shows a big difference.

Chris, here is a screen shot of the DPI resolution showing I believe it is in default mode.

Sorry for the delay! Can you try changing the "change the size of all items" slider from "larger" to "smaller"? Smaller is the default setting.
