Script error and IE10

I keep getting the error message "A script in this movie is causing Abode Flash Player to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive."

How do I fix this? I am not even running a movie. I had this for awhile and then it stopped happening. Now it continually happens and is a huge nuisance.

I am not a computer geek so I don't understand what most of the answers have said. Keep any answer very basic and give detailed instructions on how to fix.

that's reporting an error on the page your browser is loading, not an error on your system.

Excuse me but this response is a bunch of bunk as the error message pops up no matter what page I am loading. And this provides no answer for fixing the problem.
