Websites will not pick up my adobe flash player

Hello,

I am running windows 8.1 64bit PC and as far as i am aware i have everything installed ie adobe flash player (shockwave flash 17.0 r0) 17.0.0.134 but a gaming website i go to won't recognise that i have it, the website gives me the following info. (Unforunately Flash can not be found on your system.

i will upload the following pictures for you so you can see for yourselfs. i don't know what i am doing wrong it has been like this now for appx. a week

And this is the website that says it's not on my system

Any everything here is always on (always activate)

And here you will see i never see a clip or animation after updating/installing adobe flash player

It is like this for another site too that relies on flash player.

Please help.

    I can see from the screenshot that you're using Adblock Pro.  It's mostly likely blocking all Flash content.

    Hi Jeromie Clark,

    Can you perhaps tell me how i can customize adblock as to let the flash player through?

    I don't use it, sorry.  You'll need to either disable it or check out their support site.

    Hi David,

    Microsoft changes the way the User Agent string, which many sites use to identify the OS and browser and display content for that OS/browser and this results in issues on some websites.  Please try the following:

    Hi m_vargas,

    i don't know if i pointed out that i am using firefox and not internet explorer. Do i still do the above with IE?

    Hi,

    I'm sorry, I'm going through a lot of posts this morning and misread yours.  Usually these issues are with IE, not Firefox.
