The Flash Player Distribution page provides an MSI and an EXE, however using the MSI Flash Player is 17 MB when installed, and using the EXE Flash Player is 6 MB when installed, what is the difference?

Hi billd9151,

The MSI installers are mainly used by IT admins to distribute Flash Player using various software distribution tools available for enterprise deployment (e.g System Center Configuration Manager, aka ConfigMgr).  They also contain some additional instructions for this purpose.  EXE installers, can also be used by IT Admins for deployment via other enterprise distribution channels, but are mainly used by every-day users to install Flash Player.

The size difference in Control Panel > Programs and Features is a bug in the EXE installer that we are fixing in a future release of Flash Player.
