Hello there.
Could anyone provide any help as to why my flash player on my Surface RT suddenly stopped working around the time of the last automatic windows update
on the 26/4/17 and/or 29/4/17? The flash files/folders that were updated/introduced at that stage were marked: arm_adobe-flash-for-windows_31bf3856ad364e35_7.3.9600.18401_none_b205ea030fcef578 and; arm_adobe-flash-for-windows_31bf3856ad364e35_7.3.9600.18654_none_bb1d2df110ff4c780
Note: My flash player is enabled and activeX disabled, and that apparently the only way to update flash on the surface RT is via Microsoft's Windows update (so that part seemingly out of my hands).
Kind regards,
Chris

Hi,
On Windows 8 and above, Flash Player is embedded in IE (and Edge on Windows 10) and all updates are distributed by Microsoft via Windows Update. It sounds like something went wrong with the update. Please contact Microsoft Support (support.microsoft.com), or the Microsoft Community (answers.microsoft.com) for assistance with the Windows Update on your system.

Hi Maria.
Thank you for your reply.
I had started the same thread simultaneously over in the Microsoft forum. So far all I've had back from Microsoft is that it could be an issue with my usb port, but I don't agree with that assessment at this stage as I haven't used the port in a long time. I do know
that I have basically zero space left on the hard drive (despite hving no video, music, images and very little word docs, and running a disk space clean up), which the surface notifies me about now and again. Do you think this could be the cause of the problem?
Kind regards,
Chris

It's possible the update didn't install correctly due to the lack of space. Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the update?
