Hi, I am using AEM and FMPS. I am specifying a ditaval file in AEM. I need to postprocess the FrameMaker book with ExtendScript and I need to know which ditaval file was specified in AEM. Any ideas on where I can grab this information? Perhaps from a log or registry entry, etc. Thanks in advance.

Hi Rick ,

This is possible but I would like to ask which version of FMPS you are using currently ?

FMPS2019. Do you need more specific version information? It is very important that I can figure out which ditaval is being used. It is for a BIG Adobe client :-).

Hello Rick,

If you add some data object into the metadata in one (or even all) of your topics that pick up different values depending on the DITAVAL, you can easily pick that metadata up in ExtendScript and as metadata will not show up in the content it does not disrupt your output.

In this way you do not even need to talk to AEM from your ExtendScript.

Ciao from Amsterdam
