Autonumbering Issue in Prefix Element

Hi y'all! I'm new to using FM and have inherited a particular documentation template for my job. One change we want to make it to add a autonumber counter in a BugFix element prefix for Fixed/Current Issues in release notes, but no matter what I try, I can't seem to get the autonumbering to work.

For context, here's a sample of what the Fixed Issues looks like in vivo:

Basically, what I want to do is add an autonumber counter in front of the "Issue" prefix. For this element, the "Issue" prefix value is followed by an attribute value where the particular bug/issue number can be entered via a value text box in the ZOI attribute.

The document is structured, and this is what the structure looks like (the "ID" is a random jumble I typed in to see what it would change. It didn't do anything):

Here's what the plain EDD Prefix rules for the IssueDescription2 element looks like:

I have played with the EDD and tried adding a <n+>, <n=1>, <n>, and other versions of the autonumbering tag, but these only resulted in the actual text "<n+>" etc to be displayed before "Issue" when the EDD change is imported. On top of that, I've also tried to add another $attribute tag before the "Issue", but that just makes the ZOI attribute misbehave and break or even disappear. There is a "Type" attribute option apparently available in this element that has options including Bullet and Numbered, but I cannot seem to activate it even if I try to explicitly add the Type attribute tag to the prefix.

As said, I'm relatively new to FM, so any advice or help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

The EDD should look something like this:

I did not add in all the other formating you might want, such as indents and tabs.
