Blank Pages

I'm new to FrameMaker 9.  I'm trying to delete

blank pages in the cover and I go through all the steps - only the blank pages come back.  What is a girl to do?

I'm assuming that the files are set up in a book file. Is the book set to be double-sided? Are any of the component files set to start on a Right page?

If so, then for a double-sided book, when you delete the prior blank Left page and the next file is supposed to start on a Right page, FM has to insert something otherwise the Left page would be "missing".

You need to specify the setup of the individual files in the Book file. If you want/need to delete empty pages, you have to set the files to start on the "Next available" side and then FM will re-paginate accordingly when you re-generate the book.
