Displaying an element attribute value in a generated list of elements

Community Expert ,

Good evening all,

In an Fm 17.07 project I've created a generated list of elements, and on the reference page I am asking for the value of a Date attribute using the following code:
<$attribute[Date]>

Unfortunately, though I believe the building block to be correct, it returns <$attribute in the generated file, rather than, say, 10/9/2025

Has anyone seen this, or know the reference page syntax I need to do this?

Hi Matt, I don't think all building blocks work in all scenarios and you may have encountered one that doesn't work on Reference pages. If you can mock up a sample of the format of the desired list, I may be able to provide a script. Thanks.
