Famemaker 7 XML Cookbook files

Guest

I'm practising the Famemaker 7 XML Cookbook pdf to learn the XML part of Framemaker. However, I cannot locate the 'practise exercise files' that mentioned in the booklet. Can someone help with this matter?

btw, the forum search on the Adobe site is only partially working, so it's often difficult to get any results; google search is very up-to-date though, and there is a way to specify just the FM forum, I'm digging that info up and will post it too.

Please always post what specific version of FM including the "pxxx" numbers as shown in Help > About.

I vaguely recall that there were some missing files in one of the versions; you might check here to be sure you have the latest update, in case the files were included in a later patch:

Thanks, Sheila. I'm self-learning the 'Framemaker 7.0 XML Cookbook' that downloaded from Adobe website. However, only pdf file is found for the book, no example file being attached for the exercise mentioned from book.

Unfortunately, I search the website you indicated; it is only applicable for update in Framemaker software.

I follow this link you provided:

However, the download address and XML cookbook file (ZIP) are no longer there.

To search the FM forums via google:

[search terms here] "FrameMaker_General_Discussion > Discussions" site:forums.adobe.com/thread/

for example:

[cookbook] "FrameMaker General Discussion > Discussions" site:forums.adobe.com/thread/
[cookbook] "FrameMaker_Structured > Discussions" site:forums.adobe.com/thread/
