The direct link to the patch on the ftp site is: ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/framemaker/win/13.x/AdobeFramemaker_13_0_3_upd.zip
The FrameMaker Updates page doesn't show the new patch yet. It might take a few days to propagate through the Adobe ecosystem.

I saw this in the "enhancements" list:
"Removed paragraph symbol in structured mode:"
Does anyone know, does this really mean that the paragraph text symbol no longer appears at all? If so, is this not an enhancement for me, it is a major feature downgrade. I use structured FM exclusively and depend on these symbols like anyone else. Can the "enhancement" be turned off? If not, I wouldn't be able to use this patch.

I agree to what Russ said.
I also use the structured mode also for non-structured files.
I need the paragraph symbol!
Best regards

I have installed the update. I don't understand what the enhancement is either, but the paragraph symbol looks like it always has in both structured and unstructured documents when text symbols are on.

I've alerted Vivek to this issue and have asked him to have some more information on the purpose and use case of this "enhancement" posted.

Apparently it's a holiday for the rest of the week in India and the verbiage will be updated next week. Vivek did clarify this a bit:
"Just the para symbol which used to prefix the tag name has been removed from the dialogs mentioned just above in the release notes where the strings have changed. E.g. Special > Table of Content > Create Standalone TOC. It enables keyboard to work to quickly go to a tag. "

Ok, that's a relief. Just a very difficult-to-understand release notes. Thanks Arnis.

A quick update. Adobe is aware of some book issues with the latest patch and an updated release (3.1) will be available shortly. For now, please hold off on updating your FM2015 version until then.

After installing this update, I find my referenced graphics load so slowly that it is impossible to work. All previous updates have been fine.
Are there any other prerequisites it assumes have been installed eg flash etc, that would cause this issue?
OS is windows 10, fully updated
Our antivirus seems to be taking a keen interest when coming across a graphic in the document . All files are located on a network drive, and copying the files locally does not change the result.

Hi Rob,
Is this happening for any specific image type. it would help us understand better if you can share the image/doc with us.
You can directly mail me those files at ksaini@adobe.com
Thanks

Thanks for the reply, it is occurring with standard jpgs of any size, from half a single screen desktop ribbon bar (MS office style) to images the size of the FM 2015 splash screen.
unfortunately I cannot share the images or docs with you, but any other system based information i'm happy to help with.

Looks like the problem was windows 10 overwriting boot camp drivers that had affected the loading of graphics with the new version.
**Update**
The update patch I had installed was the update 3 I downloaded from the Adobe website when it first became available. It installed fine and worked fine.
Yesterday when I turned my computer on there was a message from the application updater saying there was a new version, which also appeared to be update 3. Now I'm back to square one.
