FrameMaker 10 crashes when I scroll into a certain part of the document

Hi all,

there is a certain section of a document that causes FrameMaker to crash as soon as I scroll into this section. The document itself is not special in any way, it contains pictures (embedded as well as referenced). I tried to save as MIF and reopen, which did not help. Also cutting out the problem section (about 5 pages) into a separate document does not help either.

I regret that I cannot be any more specific about my problem, but maybe there are some known content issues that cause FM to crash while scrolling? Can I check the MIF for any known coding errors?

I found out now that it is actually part of the PLAIN TEXT that makes FM10 crash. If I copy certain lines into a new emtpy document then FM10 crashes immediately. It even crashes if I copy into notepad, then copy from notepad and use the insert > special > text function. Bizarre!

I ended up removing the concerned chapters and retyping the problematic paragraphs by hand. BTW, if I insert them in FM9 there is no problem at all, the crash only occurres under FM10 and on all our computers in the same way.
