Hello, I hope someone here can help. We're attempting to connect FrameMaker 2020 to Sharepoint online as the CMS for our global teams. I have a few questions:

Has anyone been successful with this? We've tried both a Teams sharepoint and a communication sharepoint. Neither seem to work, In our Adobe support ticket Adobe suggests it's an issue with a changed API on sharepoint, however if someone else has that combination working, perhaps it's something else in our system that's causing an issue.

I'm also interested if you're using FrameMaker 2019 and Sharepoint, if it works, and which version of Sharepoint are you using?

And finally, if you're successfully using FrameMaker 2020 with another CMS, what options should we be looking at?

Thank you for your time!

Mary Ann

Hi Terry,

Yes, we have succeeded. Your best option is to contact Adobe support and have them work through your issue with you. One of the issues was the type of sharepoint we were using (a channel within a group, rather than it's own group) which caused an issue with the login/access to the sharepoint.  We've also upgraded to version 17.0.3 which seems to be working better than our original FrameMaker.

Are you still there? I've been trying off and on for the last two years and still have not succeeded.

We may have just succeeded as well. I contacted you yesterday via this community while searching for solutions. I'd like to do some benchmarking with other organizations - anyone - about working with FrameMaker and SharePoint. Please send me an email at terry.larson@vaderstad.com if interested.
