Does anyone know of training materials for FrameMaker 8? Is Adobe planning to publish a Classroom in a Book for FrameMaker 8?

Please?

I am very much looking for this. Frame 8 is my first use of the application so it seems silly to me to purchase training in Frame 7.

Hi Scott,
The only book I've discovered is "Adobe Technical Communication Suite Classroom in a Book" which hasn't yet been released, and no release date has been given. Amazon.com is taking pre-orders. With only 480 pages for covering the whole suite, I wonder if there will be sufficient detail about FrameMaker 8.

A couple of my friends took Education To Go's Introduction to FrameMaker 7.1 course. The instructor covers version 8 (there's evidently an admin problem with changing the name of the course). My friends said the course really helped them understand FrameMaker and they said they learned a lot. You might want to check your local college or community college to see if they offer it. If not, I believe you can enroll directly with Education To Go online.
