Mstr Pg Text Bx not showing on Body Pg

Running WinXP/Pro, SP2 and FM 7.0p579.
Text Boxes installed on Master Page do not show up on Body Page -- as they used to! This is in a file that was fine last time it was edited, but now, the box is missing from view.
On Master Page, it looks normal. If I give the border a pen assignment, or if I enter data into the box, the border and content will show on Body Page. Previously, the box showed on Body Page with View > Borders turned on.
My process:
On Master Page, I draw a text box and select 'Template for Body Page Text Frame'. I assign an unused Flow Tag because I do not want it connected anywhere. I then go to Object Properties and remove the Tag and disable Autoconnect.
This is a process I've used for years, but suddenly is not working.

Any ideas?

Hi Dave,

When you remove the Tag, you are actually creating a master page text frame only. For a text frame to be editable on body pages, it must have a Tag.

Verified. You're right on! Indeed, removing that Tag after installing the box is a recently-started practice that we will stop. I had not made that connection.
