Hi
I am getting started with structured FrameMaker 2019. I have a two column table with a straddled heading row. The body rows are not straddled. The heading also has a colour fill. However, when the document is converted to PDF, these changes are lost.

How are you creating the PDF? Print to Adobe PDF printer instance, publish/save as PDF?

Thanks for your response.
I am converting the document to PDF using the Publish option with the help of a settings file and templates. I have created the table formats in the ChapterOutputTpl and the ChapterTitleTpl templates.
The tables are being created to provide Caution and Warning information. I have attached a doc file with a sample table. The color used in the sample is different though.

Are you using the Distiller option in the Publish workflow? Have you tried doing a Print to the Adobe PDF printer instance to see if comes through as you want?

I am not explicitly selecting any Distiller option in the Publish workflow. How do I verify if it is being used?
The Print to the Adobe PDF output also doesn't retain the changes that I made in the source files.

See https://community.adobe.com/t5/framemaker-discussions/can-i-make-pdf-version1-4-not-to-use-distiller... for the image of the Settings screen showing the "Use Distiller" field.
Is there anything in your Adobe PDF printer instance's properties that is affecting your output? Is everything else appearing correctly, just not your table? Have you ruled out the Structured aspect by creating the same table in an Unstructured FM doc and PDFing it?

Please provide the structure model you're using.
Is it custom and internally developed?
If DITA, please also provide the version.
