Paragraph tag won't apply

Hi Everyone,

I'm encountering a really frustrating issue, maybe you guys can help me out (note, I am a beginner user of FrameMaker). Ocassionally, when I highlight text > Apply > select a new Paragaph Tag, the tag won't adhere to the text. When I close FrameMaker out completely and try again, the tag then adheres to the text. Am I doing something wrong? Does this sound like a bug? Am I too low on memory?

Well, my first thought is to ask the question, are you moving around

tab stops in the ruler at any time? If so, that will do it.

No, it's not Tab stops. Also, when this occurs I'm unable to use any of the buttons in the Paragraph Designer menu, i.e I can't switch to the Basic or Default Font menus.  .

It might help if you let us know which version of FM (including the pxxx numbers), you're operating system, how much physical RAM and how much free disk space on your drives that contain the \TEMP folder and the working folder for the FM files.
