Problem with generating a proper output for multiple images in one anchored frame

Hello everyone. The product I am working on currently, I use Framemaker 10 for it and to generate a CSH(context sensitive help), I generate the html output using Webworks 2012 (since it is compatible with FM 10.) A recent problem I faced is the anchored frames in the documentation with more than 1 images together isn't coming up as it is in the output. When I genertae a pdf the output is intact, with images placed properly as in the source documentation, however when it is in webworks output, it only takes single image and discards the other images in the same anchored frame. I am not sure if this is anything to do with Framemaker settings or Webworks settings. If anyone has faced any similar issue, I am looking for guidance and some help here.

Thanks,

Madhushree

Pretty sure that's a Webworks issue - FM's HTML Publishing feature relies on RoboHelp "under-the-hood" and that can only handle graphics that are in anchored frames.

There is probably a webworks setting to rasterize the contents of an anchored frame if it contains more than one image. Then you would have a single image for the entire anchored frame.

Otherwise, you can combine both images together in Photoshop (or other image editor) and reimport the new image into FrameMaker.

Thanks for the help. I'll check if there is an option to rasterize in Webworks. The second advice makes sense but given the amount of images in the entire documentation, it looks like a tedious job 😞

Just curious - was this working fine before and now doesn't? Or is this the first time you've run into this type of graphic composition?

It is working fine on my mentor's machine. The images come intact in output generated through Webworks, however, it isn't working for me, although having the same source.

In that case, I'd be comparing settings for Webworks on their machine to the settings on your machine - sounds like there must be some difference in there that's causing it to go off the rails for you.
