Hi there
Is there a way to reuse a mif file from other mif? I have a book with conditional texts and a lot of variables that I assign via mif files. The issue is that mif files also have some common styles defined in them (paragraph, tables, colors, characters etc.) and I want to store this common stuff in a external mif and call it via "import common.mif" or something like that.
Is there any support to do this directly in mif format?
Thanks a lot for your time

Hi,
You had asked for these MIF snippets some months ago. Do they not work?

Yes they work very well but this is a different case. Those snippets only have variable definitions but these ones have more informacion that I want to move to a unique snippet because these definitions are common to all snippets.

Hi,
Yes. You can also store other information in your MIF snippets such as paragraph formats or table formats. Just copy the relevant section from a MIF file.
Do you know MIFBrowse from Graham Wideman?

This helps to examine MIF files.
