If you use the Custome Ruling and Shading window to make a
border around a table cell and decide that you don't want it anymore....how do you get
the ruling to go away? I have set everything to none...everywhere. I actually got this
to work one time with the set line width option. It gave me the option of 0.0.
But I have not been able to recreate that instance and I can't get rid the the
ruling I set up. Anybody have this happen? I seem to have some very strange problems...

In the custom ruling and shading box, select Custom Cell Ruling and From Table in the list, select the edges you want to change, and click Apply. This tells Frame to set the selected edges to the rules specified in the table format. If you specifically want no ruling, select None in the list.

That is the problem....I have selected none everywhere and it want go away.
Like I said before...I did get it to go away one time by setting the stroke
to 0.0. But that option hasn't shown up again.
But thanks,

If possible, can you post a screenshot of the custom rule dialog box with your settings, just before you click Apply. Maybe I can see the problem.

Which version of FM and are these tables, by any chance, imported from Word?

I am using FM 9 and I made the tables in FM. Have been having several buggy problems. I have attached a screen shot of the custom cell ruling
that I have applied. Beside it is what comes up when you click on "show current settings"....and you can see they don't match.
Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,

Try checking the boxes to the right (To Selection:) that tell FM which boundaries to apply the ruling settings to. ![]()
