TOC page numbers

How do we get the TOC page numbers to alternate from the left to right sides of our book pages? Right now, we can only get it to show up on the left sides of the pages.

Woops. I mean, we can only get the TOC page numbers to display on the right side of the page.

Do you mean that you have pagination set to double-sided, but the page number only displays on the right-side page of a spread?

If so, what variable do you have in the footer of the Left Master page?

Yes. We have the pagination set to double-sided, but the page numbers only display on the right side of a spread.

We edited the footers of the master pages and now the page numbers are displayed correctly. Thank you to everyone for all your help!
