XML export: XML mapping table documentation

When you save an unstructured document to XML, FrameMaker uses the XML Mapping Table (part of the Reference Pages).

I'm trying to find documentation for this mapping table and its elements (in this case, the Image Format row and which values are possible besides the default 0001IMAGGIF GIF). The Help doesn't seem to contain any information on the Mapping Table. Is there a separate document that describes this?

Thanks, that provides one part of the answer. Where did you find this list?

I ran an old FrameScript script that I wrote years ago. I don't have an ExtendScript equivalent.

I did some tests with a file that contains 1 imported JPEG image, with a few FrameMaker drawing objects on top.

0001IMAGGIF GIF: standard value. Image is converted to GIF as expected.

0001FRAMSVG SVG: gives an error 'FV_FilterFailed' during export

0001FRAMPDF PDF: gives an error 'FV_FilterFailed' during export

0001IMAGEPS EPS: creates a 33 MB file with extension '.gif' that turns out to be an EPS file. Illustrator crashes when importing this, but Acrobat can open it.

Anyway, the above list works in principle. Thanks!

You will likely have better success with File > Publishing. I doubt that anything has been done with the Save As HTML functionality in quite awhile.

A quick look at the Publishing settings didn't turn up anything related to image format options. The Basic HTML output converts the images to JPEG.

I was looking at the XML export because I've got images that consist of an imported image with FrameMaker image objects on top. I want to convert these to EPS (or another vector format that preserves the FrameMaker image objects as editable objects). The XML export with '0001IMAGEPS EPS' gives me this.
