Cannot install Framemaker Fonts and Adobe folder not empty

I have been going around and around on trying to get Technical Communication Suite 2015 installed on my computer.

I've uninstalled everything a couple times. I had a Framemaker 2012 and removed that too.

Before removing that  Roaming/Adobe folder, I used to get just a couple errors. Now I get a ton.

Any ideas?

right click the installation file and click 'run as administrator'

Thanks for the idea to run as administrator, but I'm still getting the similar errors.

I'm just trying to install Framemaker 15 and get these errors below. I've looked at other suggestions linked below.

The errors here where "the parameter is incorrect" and the "directory is not empty" are not something I have control of. An incorrect parameter for symbol.ttf isn't something I know about.

The Adobe directory not being empty is strange, as everything being done is trying to install into Adobe - so all these installs are done by Adobe. I deleted them all but they still come back.

Things like re-installing C++ when there are 16 "C++ 2005/2008/2010/2012/2013/2015 Redistributable" on my computer .. is just wrong.

if you have win 10, try installing using compatibility mode for win 8.1 or win 7.

again run as admin

change your permissions on those folders.

After talking with Adobe, and trying lots of things (like updating C++) -- the final answer was to re-download and try again. This time it worked so that's good. With a slow internet, all these steps take a LONG time. My previous FrameMaker 12 was provided in the good old CD packaging - so everything is self contained.
